Mark is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  He previously earned a BFA and worked in graphic design and media production but decided to pursue health care after his experience working in homes for vulnerable adults.  He began his nursing career completing his BSN at Emory University and worked at Emory University Hospital’s Oncology/Hematology unit.  After solidifying his passion in oncology, he then worked at Cancer Treatment Centers of America/City of Hope for 5 years with experience in med/surg, IMCU, ICU, and stem cell. He also received a Daisy Award during this time.  He completed his MSN-FNP at the University of St. Augustine and worked at MD Anderson’s Lymphoma/Myeloma clinic before joining GCS in 2025.  He is passionate about bringing personal and focused care to his oncology patients because of his family’s own experience and fight with cancer.  He is a member of the American Nurses Association.

Mark is happily married and enjoys his free time with family, traveling, movies, cooking, and spoiling his Weimaraner, Winston.
