Dr. Wells is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care while helping patients navigate some of life’s most challenging circumstances.  He takes time to listen, educate, and ensure each patient understands their diagnosis and treatment plan.

Having experienced the impact of cancer within his own family, Dr. Wells knows first-hand what it’s like to watch a loved one struggle with the emotional turmoil of a cancer diagnosis, as well as the day-to-day physical consequences of living with cancer.  He values building meaningful relationships with patients and their families and considers it a privilege to support them through treatment and recovery.

A resident of Oconee County, Dr. Wells enjoys the Athens area’s strong sense of community and family-friendly atmosphere.  Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, coaching youth sports, traveling, and cheering on the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

Dr. Wells is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, & Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
