Georgia Cancer Specialists Welcomes Dr. Brian A. Geller

Board Certified Oncologist, Hematologist Joins Practice in Jasper and Blairsville Offices

Brian Geller, DOOct. 3, 2011 (Atlanta) — Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS)—a Top 10 private cancer practice in the U.S.—continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of Dr. Brian A. Geller. Dr. Geller is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. He will practice at the GCS offices in Jasper and Blairsville.

Bancroft Lesesne, president and CEO of GCS. “His presence in Jasper and Blairsville will help us expand our services to patients in North Georgia and continue our mission to provide state-of-the-art cancer care to patients close to their homes.”

Before joining GCS, Dr. Geller practiced at the Norfolk Center for Cancer Care and Hematology in Brockton, MA. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, CT, and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. 

Dr. Geller was born in New Rochelle, NY, and graduated from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
