Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS)—a Top 10 private cancer practice in the U.S.—recently hosted its annual Doctoberfest open house celebrations and networking events for medical professionals at seven GCS offices all over Georgia. More than 330 people attended collectively.
Dr. J. Bancroft Lesesne, president and interim CEO of GCS, said, “This year’s Doctoberfest was a great success. Each year, this event continues to give us the opportunity to share what GCS offices are doing both as a whole and on a local, community level.”
More than 330 medical professionals—including physicians, nurses, and hospital and practice administrators—attended the events, socializing and networking as they enjoyed light snacks, beverages, music, and giveaways.
Dr. Wendy Hawke Lenz, COO of GCS, said, “Our goal is to deliver the best possible care to our patients, and Doctoberfest is a time for GCS physicians to build professional relationships that will help our practice achieve that goal.”
