Georgia Cancer Specialists Welcomes Dr. Ursula Reusch to its Hawkinsville and Macon-Coliseum Offices

Dr. Ursula ReuschGeorgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) — a Top 10 private cancer practice in the U.S. — continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of Dr. Ursula Reusch to its Hawkinsville (214 Perry Hwy; 478-783-4022) and Macon-Coliseum (308 Coliseum Drive, Suite 120; 478-745-6130) offices.

GCS now has 44 physicians and 29 offices.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Reusch join us at GCS,” said Dr. J. Bancroft Lesesne, president and interim CEO.

Dr. Reusch joins Dr. Vundyala Reddy at the Hawkinsville office, and joins Dr. Raj Gupta, Dr. Cheryl Jones, Dr. Premila Malhotra, Dr. Reddy, and Dr. Franc Wallace at the Macon-Coliseum office.

Dr. Reusch completed her fellowship at the Boston University School of Medicine and Brown University Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island. She also completed her residency at the Brown University Medical School. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Her areas of special interest include clinical research, lung and colon cancer, and palliative care.

Dr. Reusch is a member of the American Medical Society, American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Women Society, Rhode Island Medical Women Society, and Society of Rhode Island Clinical Oncologists.
