GCS Wellness Counselor Helps Lead CLIMB Support Program for Children

CLIMB Featured in Recent Gwinnett Daily Post Article

Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) Wellness Counselor Lisa Andreucci, LCSW, along with other wellness counselors and social workers, leads The Hope House’s CLIMB (Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery) program, a six-week support program aimed at helping children cope with seeing a parent or grandparent with cancer. Ms. Andreucci sees patients at the GCS Alpharetta, Cumming, and Northside offices. Her special interests include working with children and families, group counseling, and grief and loss issues. She says working with the CLIMB program has been a tremendous experience.

“I am honored that families allow us into their lives at this most vulnerable time. It is truly an amazing experience to connect with the children and parents,” said Andreucci.

Ms. Andreucci received her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, and her Masters of Social Work from Boston College in Boston, MA.
