The Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care at Cowles Clinic in Lake Oconee recently participated in the 3rd annual Cowles Clinic Health Fair and BBQ Grill Off.

The purpose of the event, held Saturday, May 31, was to give the public a look into the services that are offered at Cowles Clinic in a fun, community oriented way. The Health Fair was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cowles Clinic Campus, located at 1000 Cowles Clinic Way, Greensboro, GA. The event was open to the public, and all sponsor proceeds were donated to local community health and Good Samaritan facilities.

“Saturday was a great success for the Georgia Centers for Total Cancer Care. The satisfaction that we received from the great turn out and support of the community, even in the hottest hours of the day, was tremendous,” said Dr. Cheryl Jones of GCS’s Macon and Athens offices.
