Dr. Bruce Feinberg, President and CEO of Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), was recently featured in live radio interviews broadcast from 14 stations nationwide. The interviews were conducted via telephone on October 10 as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“It was a pleasure to communicate the importance of breast cancer awareness to such a wide audience,” Dr. Feinberg said. “We must continue to emphasize the need for prevention and early detection.”
Dr. Feinberg was first interviewed by a Hartford, Connecticut, station at 8 a.m.. By 11 a.m., he had conducted similar interviews for audiences in Virginia, Florida, Missouri, Michigan, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, and Washington.
A sought after speaker on cancer related topics, Dr. Feinberg is recognized as an expert in oncology care and is often consulted by the national media, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and CNN. He is recognized for both his clinical skills and business acumen. He has been published in numerous peer review journals including “JAMA” and “Cancer,” as well as oncology trade journals, including “Oncology Issues” and “Community Oncology.”
