Dr. Bruce Feinberg—President and CEO of Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS)—recently spoke on preventative care and wellness at a free Northwestern Benefit Corporation of Georgia (NBCG) health seminar.
The seminar, titled “Current Issues in Employee Benefits,” was held October 23 at Atlanta’s Grand Hyatt hotel on Peachtree Road.
“I’m enjoyed speaking at the NBCG seminar,” Feinberg said. “It’s important for people to understand the overall benefits of creating a work environment that promotes wellness.”
Dr. Feinberg was the first of three to speak to event attendees, which consisted largely of human resource administrators looking to implement workplace wellness programs. The other two speakers were Jennifer Smith, NBGC’s Wellness Coordinator (“Increasing the Likelihood of a Successful Wellness Initiative”) and Pamela Southers Wilson, an independent Health and Wellness Consultant (“Impacting the Bottom Line Through Focused Wellness Strategies”).
Northwestern Benefit Corporation of GA (NBCG) participates in Strategic Employee Benefits Services (SEBS), a nationwide marketing program providing employee benefit services exclusively through Northwestern Mutual Financial Network (NMFN) Representatives. NBCG is affiliated with Goodwin Wright Inc., which has been a presence in the Atlanta Financial Services community since 1885.
