Dr. Bruce Feinberg—Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) President and CEO—recently presented his newly published book, Colon Cancer Answers, as part of the AJC Decatur Book Festival (DBF) held on Labor Day weekend. The book, published by Lenz Books, is the second in Feinberg’s Cancer Answers series.
“The festival was the perfect place to introduce Colon Cancer Answers,” Dr. Feinberg said. “What a wonderful opportunity to increase awareness of the preventable nature of this devastating disease.”
According to Feinberg, there are few up-to-date resources available for the newly diagnosed and their loving family and friends. Colon Cancer Answers, conceived as a primer for those dealing directly or indirectly with colon cancer, helps patients understand and fight the disease in easy-to-read language that takes them from diagnosis, to treatment, to life after cancer.
Dr. Bruce A. Feinberg is a nationally recognized “Top Doc” expert on cancer and has been frequently quoted in the New York Times and appeared in television specials about the disease.
