Magic of Life Foundation will host over 2,500 cancer survivors at Turner Field

The Magic of Life Foundation, along with the physicians and staff at Georgia Cancer Specialists, the largest private oncology and hematology practice in the Southeast, will host their 17th annual Magic of Life Celebration at Turner Field on Sunday, September 30, 2007.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature a tour of the Atlanta Braves museum, clubhouse, and locker rooms, as well as various baseball themed activities.  Free hamburgers and hot-dogs will be served and all survivors will receive a complimentary commemorative t-shirt displaying Pamela Hardin’s artwork, “Set Free.”

“This event gives survivors a chance to celebrate their strength and victory in surviving cancer,” said Wendy Hawke Lenz, MD, Chair, and Executive Director of the Magic of Life Foundation.

The Magic of Life Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization providing community cancer education and support for those diagnosed with cancer.
