German-Themed Events Celebrate Local Physicians, Communities

In appreciation of their physicians, as well as the surrounding medical community, Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), the largest private oncology/hematology practice in the Southeast, is hosting a “Doctoberfest” open house at its Kennestone office in Marietta on Thursday, October 12. GCS will host a total of six Doctoberfest events across the state during the month of October.

These annual, German-themed meet and greet events give GCS physicians the opportunity to thank those in their local medical communities, including referring physicians and their staff members, healthcare administrators, and pharmacists.

“This is the third year for our “Doctoberfest” parties,” said Dr. Bruce Feinberg, President/CEO of GCS. “Every year they allow us to welcome a new physician, celebrate a new office opening, and show our appreciation for the local medical community.”

Every year, “Doctoberfest” gives GCS an opportunity to introduce new physicians in the practice to those in their local communities. This year, GCS celebrates the recent additions of Dr. Rao Moravineni, Dr. John Manfredi, and Dr. James Hamrick to the practice.

In addition to the Kennestone event, GCS will also host Doctoberfests at their Blairsville, Crawford Long, DeKalb, Gwinnett, and Stockbridge offices.

The Kennestone office is located in Marietta at 340 Kennestone Hospital Boulevard, Suite 100, Marietta, GA 30060. The phone number is 770-590-8311.
