Inspire Loved Ones with “My Knockout†Boxing Gloves

In tribute to their late mother, former Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) patient Gerrel Craig, sisters Karen and Sheree embarked on a business venture that would inspire cancer patients in the midst of their fight with the disease.

While Gerrel was in the hospital, daughter Sheree brought her a pair of boxing gloves, signed with inspirational messages by friends and family, to symbolize her ongoing fight against cancer. Gerrel was so touched by this gesture, she urged the girls to turn the idea into a business that could touch the lives of others in the same way.

“It has taken us almost a year to get this ball rolling, but Mama was able to see our first prototype glove shortly before she passed away, and this alone made our efforts worthwhile,” said Karen. “We know that flowers wilt and go in the trash, and cards get stuffed in a drawer, but these gloves last forever and will continue to illustrate the love and support one received during their battle. We still treasure Mama’s gloves.”

A portion of proceeds from the gloves goes to the American Cancer Society for research.

The gloves are available at select gift shops throughout Atlanta and online. To learn more about “My Knockout,” visit www.myknockout.com.
