German-Themed Events Celebrate Local Physicians, Communities

In appreciation of their physicians, as well as the surrounding medical community, Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), the largest private oncology/hematology practice in the Southeast, hosted 10 “Doctoberfest” open houses across Georgia from October 20-27, 2005.

These German-themed meet and greet events gave GCS physicians the opportunity to thank those in their local medical communities, including referring physicians and their staff members, healthcare administrators, and pharmacists.

“This is the second year for our “Doctoberfest” parties,” said Dr. Bruce Feinberg, President/CEO of GCS. “They allow us to welcome a new physician, celebrate a new office opening, and show our appreciation for the local medical community.”

Every year, “Doctoberfest” gives GCS an opportunity to introduce new physicians in the practice to those in their local communities. This year, GCS celebrated the recent additions of Dr. Nishan Fernando, Dr. Jonathan Rosenbluth, and Dr. Raj Gupta to its practice.

GCS also celebrated the opening of its new offices in Cumming and Lithonia, and its newly relocated Stockbridge office.

The Johns Creek office is located in Suwanee at 4040 Johns Creek Parkway, Suite 100B, next the Northside/Johns Creek Medical Office Building. The phone number is 770-623-8965.
