Georgia Cancer Specialists hosted a summer-themed “Summer Breeze” party at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta to officially welcome Dr. Laronna Colbert to the GCS family. The meet-and-greet event, held July 14, allowed physicians from all specialties to welcome Dr. Colbert to the hospital.
“It was nice to be able to meet so many physicians from the hospital,” said Dr. Colbert. “The atmosphere was very festive.”
GCS physicians Dr. Daniel Carr and Dr. Laura Weakland and GCS staff members were on hand to show their support for Dr. Colbert.
The party featured casual, summer-themed finger foods—chicken skewers, sushi, strawberries, and chocolate, among others—Beach Boys music, and mini hand-held fans as giveaways. Vinson Gallery of Decatur provided fine art.
