GCS Employee Appreciation Day a Big Hit at Six Flags

Monday, October 29th, 2001

More than 700 GCS employees, their families, and GCS support groups joined in festivities at Employee Appreciation Day at Six Flags hosted by Georgia Cancer Specialists on October 13.

GCS recognized its team of dedicated professionals by providing free tickets to enter the park, lunch, and GCS t-shirts. Families and friends came together to have fun on the rides, play games, eat lunch, listen to music, and get in the Halloween spirit with the Six Flags ghosts and goblins.

Bruce Feinberg, Georgia Cancer Specialists’ CEO and president said, “I attended with two of my children. Daniel, my youngest, was also celebrating his eighth birthday. It’s not every day an eight year old has over 700 people sing him happy birthday. I want to thank the GCS family for making his day special, our practice a success, and every day better for those in our care.”
