The Georgia Cancer Specialists Hawkinsville clinic has recently relocated and is now better suited to serve its patients.
The new office is located in the Cancer Treatment Center at 760 341 Blvd. The phone number at the clinic is 478-783-4022.
Amy Boren, GCS Regional Clinic Director, said the new facility provides an environment that is more equipped for oncology treatment. “The building is newer and the technology is better,” said Boren. “It truly enhances patient convenience and care.”
One technological improvement that will benefit patients is access to radiation treatment previously unavailable at the Hawkinsville clinic. “We can now combine medical oncology with radiation oncology,” said Boren.
With the move, the Hawkinsville office has increased its workload and is now open two days a week, rather than one.
The clinic opened in the old building in September of 2001.
Drs. Cheryl Jones and Vundyala Reddy will continue to practice at the Hawkinsville office.
