Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care at Preston Ridge Opens in State-of-the-Art Facility

Atlanta Oncology Associates, Georgia Cancer Specialists Team Up for Sixth Comprehensive Cancer Center

Georgia Center for Total Cancer CareThe Georgia Centers for Total Cancer Care — comprehensive cancer care facilities — recently opened its sixth office with the Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care at Preston Ridge, located at 3330 Preston Ridge in Alpharetta near the Northside/Alpharetta Medical Campus. Patients are now receiving treatment at the center.

Georgia Centers for Total Cancer Care are comprehensive cancer care facilities where patients can have access to many of the services associated with cancer treatment, including medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, radiology, imaging, and a specialty pharmacy.

Atlanta Oncology Associates (AOA; phone number: 770-442-1413) — one of the largest radiation groups in the Southeast — and Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS; phone number: 678-566-6995) — the largest private medical oncology/hematology practice in the Southeast — provide cancer care for the centers.

The building provides 8,586 square feet for medical oncology, and features a private counseling room for patient and family psychological and nutritional counseling, a state-of-the-art infusion suite, energy efficiency lighting, Wi-Fi for patient use, an automated electronic inventory system for supplies and medications, and a total electronic medical record (EMR) system. Radiation services are provided in an adjacent 13,220 square feet on the first floor. The building also houses an auditorium that can seat approximately 50 people.

AOA physicians Drs. Dale McCord, Mark McCord, and Craig Wilkinson, and GCS physicians Drs. Kristina Bowen, Nishan Fernando, Carlos Franco, Janice Galleshaw, and Pradeep Jolly will provide patient care.
