Shelley is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Society.  She has worked for Georgia Cancer Specialists for nearly 24 years where she began as an oncology nurse administering chemotherapy and later  assisted physicians in the care of our patients, and became office manager of our Blue Ridge Office. In 2013 she received her nurse practitioner license as her goal was to further assist oncology patients.  Shelley has experienced cancer not only as a nurse, but also as a caregiver and patient. She is a survivor of ovarian cancer.  She enjoys spending time with her family, loves helping people, and writing in her spare time.
