Dr. D'Amato is well-respected and internationally known in sarcoma.
She speaks around the country on emerging treatment for sarcomas and has been involved in several clinical research trials.
She received the Leiomyosarcoma Direct Research Foundation Excellence in Care Award and was the number one fundraiser for Leukemia Lymphoma Society Team in Training in Summer 2012. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Sarcoma Alliance.
In her free time, Dr. D'Amato enjoys spending time with friends and family and outdoor activities including such as running, biking, swimming, hiking, and competing in charity races (running and triathlons).
