Dr. Saleh is principal investigator and Director of Clinical Research at GCS's community-based Phase I-IV clinical research program. He was previously the Associate Director for Clinical Research at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and is currently a professor of medicine and the chairman of the UABCCC Clinical Trials Review Committee. He is a widely published clinical investigator and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

Dr. Saleh speaks German, Swahili, and several Indian dialects.
