Dr. Lesesne serves on the Board of Directors of Northside Hospital and is former chairman. He has also served as Chief of Staff of Northside Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and is a past President of the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Lesesne is the immediate Past-President and President Emeritus of Georgia Cancer Specialists.
