Dr. Lenz is Chief Operating Officer and Director of Ancillary and Palliative Care Services at Georgia Cancer Specialists. She is member of the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the American Pain Society, the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Physician Executives and the American College of Health Care Executives. She is also the founder and immediate past president of the Magic of Life Foundation, Inc. Dr. Lenz co-founded Totes 2 Tots, a community based program between GCS and DFCS which contributes backpacks to foster children. She is a founder and serves on the Board of Longleaf Hospice, Inc.
Dr. Lenz is co-editor of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine’s “Curriculum Guideline for Hospice Care”, Dr. Lenz also served on the national examination committee of American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and has been named “Who’s Who of Business and Healthcare Professionals”.
