Your kids are going back to school, and maybe you should too.

We’ve learned a lot about our bodies since the last time you took a biology class.

And trust me, you can’t catch up with 15 second sound bytes on the local news.

We all want to feel good and live long, healthy lives. Understanding your body will help you do just that.

I encourage my patients to read as much as possible about their disease, so they are better equipped to fight it.

When I read all the best-selling books on breast cancer and wasn’t satisfied, I wrote my own breast cancer book called “Breast Cancer Answers.”

Now, I’m working on “Colon Cancer Answers” for the same reason.

This isn’t a sales pitch. The point is that I believe in health education enough to take matters into my own hands. And you should to.

Hit the books. Find out what makes your body tick. You’ll be happier and healthier for it.
