Dr. Galleshaw’s practice is devoted to the management of breast cancer. She was the medical honoree at the Susan G. Komen Foundation Ball in 2004. She is on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Cancer Foundation, and is the Principal Investigator for the STAR Trial (Study of Tamoxifen and Raloxifene) for breast cancer prevention in the Atlanta region. The STAR Trial is the largest randomized clinical study of its kind, with 19,000 women taking part.
