Dr. Bruce A. Feinberg was instrumental in establishing Georgia Cancer Specialists, the largest and first integrated oncologic specialty practice in the Southeast. As Chief Executive Officer and President of GCS, he has expanded community access to oncology care by bringing the latest cancer treatments, technologies, and clinical trials closer to the patient.

Dr. Feinberg is recognized as an expert in oncology care and is often consulted by the national media, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and CNN. He is recognized for both his clinical skills and business acumen. He has been published in numerous peer review journals including JAMA and Cancer, as well as oncology trade journals, including Oncology Issues and Community Oncology.

He was one of only five oncologists in the U.S. to be appointed to Wellpoint’s national oncology advisory committee and has served in a similar capacity with United Health Care. He was recognized by Hadassah International as the South East Honoree in 2006 and named as one of the “Top Doctors” in Atlanta according to a Consumers’ Guide to Top Doctors survey of American Medical Association physicians. In addition Georgia Cancer Specialists was named one of the Top Practices of the Year by PhysiciansPractice magazine. Recently, Dr. Feinberg was selected to receive the Health Advancement Patient Services Award from Community Health Charities of Georgia.
